After completing a B.Com(Ag) majoring in Economics and marketing, my business interests have always been involved in marketing and exporting primary products: berry fruit, dairy and shellfish.
My current role is in compliance at Westhaven. The role of compliance for “wild caught, safe sustainable seafood”, and traceability is crucial to my role. We export live and frozen NZ Littleneck Clams (NZ Cockles). We are a family run business exporting to multiple markets to food service and retail customers.
As one Italian mama said “Mmm – these clams are the champagne of the sea!”
